Going to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter

September 10, 2011

I mentioned in my previous post that I’m planning a trip. Well, I am going to Islands of Adventure and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! It’s going to be a three day trip to Orlando for the weekend before my birthday in November. :) I got a special deal directly from Universal Orlando. It includes the hotel, tickets for 2 days to the park, a set of all the movies on Blueray, and more for two people. I’m going with my sister that weekend and I can’t wait! I’m so excited right now, it’s ridiculous.

I plan to buy so many souvenirs while I’m there. I want to get a wand, treats from the stores, everything! I’m really excited to go now, especially since the final movie has come out. The books and movies are done now, so I’ll have to get my fix through other sources. :) (I plan to start rereading the books again, too.)

I really want this time to move faster. Ever since I made the actual reservations for the trip time has slowed down considerably. Of course, in October Pottemore will be open to everyone so hopefully that will help to pass the time. Along with reading the books, I’ll have to find something to help distract me until it’s finally time to leave for my trip.

Have any of you ever gone to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter? How was it? For those you haven’t gone, do you want to? :)

I was just speechless. They looked so in love with each other and so happy to be there. They looked wonderful together and Beyonce sounded amazing. :D I just wanted to share this with everyone.

Fun Weekend!

January 19, 2009

Hey guys! What’s been going on. I had an unusually busy weekend for me. Fortunately it was actually fun. (I haven’t been able to say that for a while.) First, I did get to go to the movies on Friday. I went with my sister to see ‘Bride Wars’ and I loved it! I don’t know why people were complaining about it. It was supposed to be a light hearted comedy and that’s exactly what it was! Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson were both hilarious in it. I would recommend anyone to go see it if you like either one of those two actresses. :D

I also got some shopping done. I really needed a nice winter coat since Georgia just now decided it wanted to get really cold. There was a sale at Old Navy so I decided to haul ass over there. And what do you know? They were having this great weekend sale! I actually found not one but two great coats! And both came to less than $70 because there was an additional 50% off the sale price! I was only going to get one until I saw that sign, then I had to get both. :D I was too excited.

And finally I also went to Columbia to celebrate a friends birthday. We made reservations at ‘The Melting Pot’ which I had never been to before. I have to say that I was really impressed. I really loved it. I had always wanted to go to a fondue place before and I’m really glad that I went. We had the order that came with everything: the cheese course, then salad, then the main course, and then dessert. The cheese fondue and the chocolate were my favorite! I have to go again.

Well, that was my weekend. If you want to see the photos of my coats, just head on over to my Flickr. Any of you guys have any fun this weekend?

OkCupid Quiz…Too cute! lol

The Sonnet
Deliberate Gentle Love Dreamer (DGLD)

Romantic, hopeful, and composed. You are the Sonnet. Get it? Composed?

Sonnets want Love and have high ideals about it. They’re conscientious people, caring & careful. You yourself have deep convictions, and you devote a lot of thought to romance and what it should be. This will frighten away most potential mates, but that’s okay, because you’re very choosy with your affections anyway. You’d absolutely refuse to date someone dumber than you, for instance.

Lovers who share your idealized perspective, or who are at least willing to totally throw themselves into a relationship, will be very, very happy with you. And you with them. You’re already selfless and compassionate, and with the right partner, there’s no doubt you can be sensual, even adventurously so.

You probably have lots of female friends, and they have a special soft spot for you. Babies do, too, at the tippy-top of their baby skulls.

Always avoid: The 5-Night Stand (DBSM), The False Messiah (DBLM), The Hornivore (RBSM), The Last Man on Earth (RBSD)

Consider: The Loverboy (RGLM)
