Fun Weekend!

January 19, 2009

Hey guys! What’s been going on. I had an unusually busy weekend for me. Fortunately it was actually fun. (I haven’t been able to say that for a while.) First, I did get to go to the movies on Friday. I went with my sister to see ‘Bride Wars’ and I loved it! I don’t know why people were complaining about it. It was supposed to be a light hearted comedy and that’s exactly what it was! Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson were both hilarious in it. I would recommend anyone to go see it if you like either one of those two actresses. :D

I also got some shopping done. I really needed a nice winter coat since Georgia just now decided it wanted to get really cold. There was a sale at Old Navy so I decided to haul ass over there. And what do you know? They were having this great weekend sale! I actually found not one but two great coats! And both came to less than $70 because there was an additional 50% off the sale price! I was only going to get one until I saw that sign, then I had to get both. :D I was too excited.

And finally I also went to Columbia to celebrate a friends birthday. We made reservations at ‘The Melting Pot’ which I had never been to before. I have to say that I was really impressed. I really loved it. I had always wanted to go to a fondue place before and I’m really glad that I went. We had the order that came with everything: the cheese course, then salad, then the main course, and then dessert. The cheese fondue and the chocolate were my favorite! I have to go again.

Well, that was my weekend. If you want to see the photos of my coats, just head on over to my Flickr. Any of you guys have any fun this weekend?

I’m Back and a Collective Haul

July 18, 2008

Sorry for being gone so long! I was on a little vacation. I was gone to Florida for a family reunion. It was for my Grandmother’s mother’s side of the family. We’ve never gone to that side’s reunions because of timing issues etc. Anyway, it was a lot of fun and I met a lot of new family. It was great! The reunion was in Jacksonville and we did some shopping and tours and we had a cookout. After the reunion my family went to spend a day in Charleston before coming home. It was amazing! I absolutely love the city of Charleston. One day was not enough. We plan on taking a longer vacation there in the future.

Anyway! I also have a small haul to share with you guys. It isn’t that big at all. And it’s really a collective haul since not all of it was bought from the same place.

Moving on, here is a pic of everything that I’ve bought first.

Top Row: Jessie’s Girl ‘Color My World’ Eyeshadows in Evergreen, Aqua, and Earthtone
Bottom Row: MAC paint pot in Indianwood, Jessie’s Girl ‘Bejeweled’ Eyeshadow Quad #2, and NYC ‘Skin Tight Denim Creme’ Nail Enamel

It’s a collection of things that I’ve bought the past week. I got the MAC paintpot from a CCO in Charleston and the rest is from Rite Aid. You can see the rest of the pics in my Flickr, the link is on the sidebar.

June 27, 2008

I’m so excited! I went to the Grand Opening of Sephora today. And that store is just amazing. They had everything I could ever want! It’s so gorgeous in there too.I didn’t buy much today because I didn’t really have the time that I wanted to really shop. I’ll have to go again next week when I can actually stay there for a while. But I did get some things.

Anyway, you’ll be seeing a lot of these in the future I think. ;)

Also, I got my free sample from ‘Mario Badescu’ in the mail today. (Today is just turning out to be so awesome!) I’ll be trying them out to see if I want to use the products or not. To get free samples just go to this site and register and fill out their profile. You’ll get an email from them to get the free samples. And you don’t even pay for shipping like some other places make you do. :D Awesome! I never turn away free stuff. Here’s a pic of it.

I have to say that I absolutely love this store! And we are finally getting one in out mall! (I know, we are so behind.) Anyway, it should be opening any day now so in celebration I’ve decided to make a gift registry for myself. Not for any special occasion but just because. :D Clickie!
